RFC-4800 Series Contactless Angle Sensors
Trackers ensure that photovoltaic modules follow the sun's position. Compared to fixed installations, energy yield increases by about 30 to 40 percent. This is made possible by a control system that continuously calculates the sun’s position using GPS data as well as the date and time. This ensures that the modules remain optimally aligned even in cloudy conditions or when sunlight is low.
Sensors from Novotechnik measure the current angular positions of the modules. They enable precise and reliable control of the tracking system, thereby supporting a consistently high energy yield.

Contactless linear position transducers, TM1 series
In modern wind turbines, a microprocessor-controlled blade pitch system ensures that the rotor blades are continuously adjusted to current wind conditions. The adjustment mechanism is located in the hub of each rotor blade and uses a dedicated hydraulic pitch cylinder. These individual cylinders increase operational safety, as a single rotor blade in the feathered position is sufficient to slow down or stop the turbine.
The position of the piston rod is linear position transducers by a linear, non-contact absolute linear position transducers that is integrated directly into the hydraulic cylinder. It provides the precise measurement data required for safe and efficient blade tracking.
