Connection technology

Novotechnik's connection technology forms the core of reliable signal transmission between sensors and control systems. With three main categories, our extensive product portfolio covers all requirements of standard automation technology and ensures the highest transmission quality under extreme industrial conditions.

M12 Connectors: The Industry Standard

The M12x1 A-coded connector housings form the backbone of sensor connection technology.
Injection-molded cable versions with shielded cables are available for industrial applications, as well as unshielded versions for mobile use.

For CAN bus applications, the 5-pin version offers specialized solutions that ensure reliable bus signal transmission. The portfolio is complemented by dual splitters and 120Ω termination plugs for bus termination in professional CAN networks.

M8 Connectors for Compact Applications

The M8x1 connector boxes offer optimal solutions for tight installation spaces. Angled versions allow for flexible installation even in tight spaces.

M16 Connectors

The rugged M16x0.75 connector boxes are also available in angled and straight versions, as well as with an integrated cable.

Quality and System Compatibility

All connection technology components meet the highest industry standards, featuring IP67/IP68 protection ratings and UL certification. EMC-shielded systems ensure interference-free signal transmission. PUR cable jackets offer excellent resistance to oils and lubricants.
