Inductive Linear Position Sensor for Highly Dynamic Positioning Tasks

The new inductive linear position sensor TF1 is relying on the touchless Novopad process. This makes the sensor impervious to the magnetic fields generated by large motors, hydraulic valves, or frequency inverters as the position ist not detected via a magnetic but via an inductive position marker. The sensor is not subject to wear and tear and shines with its excellent EMC characteristics. Short dead bands at the beginning and end of the path ensure full utilization of the measuring range, which represents a distinct advantage in tight installation settings. Because of its exceptionally good dynamic characteristics, the new linear position sensor is suitable for very rapid positioning tasks.
